BACKGROUND

Mr. Washmuth has a broad based background in Landscape Architectural projects including project design, construction implementation, administration, site planning and Project Management.

Larry has thirty (32) years of practical experience in Landscape Architecture and Planning projects in both the government and private sectors of practice.

Within the last few years, Larry has been the Landscape Architect and project manager for several landmark projects in the Sarasota area as listed herein. 

During his career, Larry has devoted eight (8) years to park and recreation planning with the Peoria Park District, Peoria, Illinois, where he served as Administrator responsible for the comprehensive planning, design & construction of park and recreation areas and facilities. Project sites have ranged from small neighborhood parks to regional recreation facilities approaching 1,000 acres in size. Many of these have been recognized on the local, state and national levels for design excellence by such organizations as the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) and the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
